Growing Our Own Teachers on Kauai extends our appreciation to our Kauai teachers!

Growing Our Own Teachers on Kauai has provided scholarships to more than 85 student teachers since its inception in 2006. These scholarships help the student teacher candidates finish their final semester and go on to become teachers in our local schools. More than 88% of those teachers are still teaching here on Kauai! Below, a couple of our more recent recipients share their thoughts about how our scholarships helped them.
