Growing Our Own Teachers on Kauai is a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation. We have been working to mitigate the critical shortage of local teachers on Kauai since our original inception in 2006. The project was so successful, we became a nonprofit organization in 2008.
We serve low-income teacher candidates from Kauai who participate in accredited teacher licensure programs.
